Show unread notification counter in Bell Icon
Currently I dont know how many unread notifications I've. it'd be better if I can see it before going to notifications page.
FeatureOS now gives you the option to handle your notifications with more granularity. We have introduced option to Save notifications so you can gather important notifications and action on it when possible, Mark as Done once you have actioned and you could do these actions in bulk too! ๐ Getting Started Start by clicking on your display picture at the top right corner โ click on Notifications in the drop down menu. You will find three tabs : Inbox: This section will contain all the latest notifications. You will find the Save button so you can save important important notifications, come back to it later, option to Move to Done and mark as read/unread buttons here. Note: Move to Done is different from Read notifications. Move to Done will move the notification to Done section whereas when you simply open and view a notification it will stay in the same Inbox page but as a Read notification. Saved: This page contains all the saved notifications. You will find the option to Move to Done and mark as read/unread buttons here. Done: Moving a notification to Done helps you clear your notifications from the main Inbox page so you can achieve Inbox Zero easily. Notifications moved to Done are always marked as Read. We've also introduced options to perform all the aforementioned actions as bulk updates too! Filters & views for notifications You can make use of the extensive filters available to filter notifications based on specific activity. The Threaded view helps to see your unread notifications - The grouping is based on the posts and you can expand a single thread to view the list of notifications and mark all as read if required. You can use List view to see a chronological list of your notifications - both read and unread. Advanced Notification Filters With Advanced Email Notifications Power-Up you also get the ability to filter notifications based on boards, tags and status of the post. Setting up vote milestone notifications in communication apps like Slack and Discord keeps your team informed about the engagement on the feedback and votes in real-time. It helps you prioritize features based on user interest, and promotes product improvement. Getting Started Start by heading to your featureOS Dashboard โ Organization Settings โ Integrations tab. Click on Configure for the Slack/Discord integration. You will find a toggle for Vote Milestone. Enable it and set the Frequency and Milestone count. Choosing 'First' as the frequency option will result in a notification being sent only when the first milestone count is reached. Conversely, selecting 'Every' will make the notification repeat each time the milestone count is achieved. Note: There will be a delay of 10 seconds in the milestone notification being sent to the appropriate Slack/Discord channels. An example for clarification Setting the Milestone to Every 50 Votes: The Slack channel you set will receive notifications at each 50-vote increment. For example, when a post reaches 50 votes, then 100 votes, 150, 200, 250, and so on. Setting the Milestone to First 50 Votes: The Slack channel you set will receive a notification only when a post reaches its first 50 votes. After that, no further notifications will be sent, regardless of how many more votes the post receives. This vote milestone configuration can also be set for your Discord integration.
